A couple of points- you can get a Jennie-O turkey from Food Lion for $.69 per pound if you spend at least $35 in the store. This is a good deal, especially considering that turkeys can be $1.50 or more per pound. I even saw some for $2.29 per pound at other stores, so if you need other items from Food Lion, this would be a good time to get your turkey. Also, there is a Unilever products promotion where you can save $5 off a turkey or $10 off a turkey if you buy $15 or $30 worth of the products. I imagine you could end up getting your turkey free or close to it this way!
Harris Teeter has Deer Park water on Saturday special for only $2.77 for a 24 pack. Also, you can get 5 lbs of Domino Sugar for only $1.17 if you have the $.65 off coupon from the paper. Lays Chips are Buy 2 get 3 free, making them only $1.71 per bag. Reynolds Wrap Oven bags and Rachel Ray Chicken Stock are $1.00 after coupon. Finally, I got Dole Mandarin Oranges on sale for $1.00 per can, but after coupon for $.50 off 2 cans, they ended up being only $.50 per can. This is a good deal, as they normally cost $1.85 per can.
Finally, Lowes Foods deals are great this week, too! I saw Butterball Turkey for only $.87 per pound, which is good for a name brand. Also they're running a $4 off 4 promo on Kelloggs cereals, which can really add up if they're on sale and you use a coupon. There are many more deals to be had there, so check the flyer before you shop.
