Star News vs. News and Observer Plus Video!

Good morning! My baby girl turned four weeks yesterday and she is already sleeping through the night! Last night was the first full Saturday night of sleep that I have gotten in months :) so I was actually able to get up and get the newspapers early today.

This morning I found one Red Plum and one Smart Source coupon booklet in both the Wilmington Star News and the Raleigh News and Observer. Since Raleigh is a bigger city, I expect the coupons in it to be more plentiful. Let's take a look and see if that is the case!

Overall, Raleigh did have more coupons BUT there were two coupons for freebies in the Wilmington paper that I didn't see in the Raleigh paper- the free El Monterrey Supreme Burrito and the FREE Pedigree Dog Tray. Keep in mind that most stores don't take free coupons that you print from the internet but you shouldn't have any problems with free coupons from the newspaper.

There were also several coupons (see the red print) that were only found in the Wilmington paper this week, so if you want the Schick Products, Pam, Post Cereals and the freebie coupons you will need to get the Wilmington newspaper.
